First Strike’s mission is to save lives through the development, deployment, and support of risk mitigation and safety programs and equipment. We accomplish this by providing the general public, law enforcement, emergency services, private security, and the military with a variety of innovative, exciting, and demanding online, hybrid, and in person training courses, comprehensive physical and cyber security threat assessments, and the equipment required to put the knowledge, skills, and recommendations we share into practice.

First Strike is a training and consulting organization that provides standardized risk mitigation and safety programs, certification, equipment, and direct and indirect support to domestic and international clients and our authorized instructors and training centers. First Strike was founded by a group of professionals with significant public safety and military training and experience, who felt a powerful calling to help others learn how to effectively mitigate risk, increase their overall safety, and ultimately protect themselves, their loved ones, and their personal and business interests.

In-line with our educational programs, First Strike strive’s to create public safety “ambassadors”, wherein we encourage informed citizens to engage, educate, and inspire others to learn how to effectively protect themselves online and off, while getting involved in the community to find ways to reduce societal risk of criminal attacks in both the physical and virtual environments.

First Strike instructors, educators, ethical hackers, and operators are mature, experienced, dedicated professionals with significant experience and education in their fields of speciality. Each candidate must undergo a comprehensive evaluation that includes personality tests, a back ground check, and both academic and skills evaluations. Generally, most candidates have a four-year degree or higher, hold multiple industry certification, agency instructor and instructor-trainer level certifications, and must have at least two-years of real-world practical hands-on teaching experience to be apart of our cadre along with at least five years practical-based real world on-the-job experience. Those who are selected, must complete a rigorous Field Operations, Cyber Operations, and/or Instructor Development Program (IDP) in addition to providing evidence of Professional Level Liability insurance and/or Bonding.

First Strike believes there is a considerable difference between a training program, coaching, and mentoring. With the latter, relationships are valued as a very powerful means to longer-term personal development in a given environment. Mentoring by definition has more inherent value, as it is based on a mutual desire for development towards the mentee’s (the person being mentored) personal and professional goals and objectives. Mentoring is concerned with long-term development and focuses on implicit, intuitive subjects and behaviors. This concept undergirds our training programs.
